This hose conversion adapter is require when you upgrade your existing Intex pool filter pump system 1000gph or smaller to any of the more powerful 1500gph, 2500gph or larger pool filter pump. If your pool is 16' in diameter or smaller, you would need 2 adaptors to adapt to the larger 1.5" ID hose with threaded connection to your 1.25" ID hose connection. Please verified the compatibility of these hose adapters to your pool set, if you do not have an Intex pool set.
***** Not recommended for Intex 4000gph pool filter pump(this is not designed for pool set w/ less than 52" height sidewall), due to the much higher flow-rate. ****
