Balboa M7 5.5KW heater assembly with sensors which now includes wires attached to the element terminals with a plug on the end that plugs into the circuit board on the BP7 series and a female wired receptacle on the updated VS series. Balboa has eliminated the copper heater straps and updated the heater connection with wires and a plug. If you're installing this heater in an older Balboa VS or EL series pack that has copper heater straps then you will need to remove the copper straps and install heater receptacle cable to the circuit board. If the factory installed plug is removed from the heater terminals it voids the heater warranty.
