Typical use:
- If phosphate level is <1,000 ppb (1 ppm) Use 125 ml per 10,000 L
- If phosphate level is >1,000 ppb Use 250 ml per 10,000 L. Multiple applications may be necessary when phosphate levels are excessive
For Sand filters:
Limit applications to no more than 2 litres per one-time dosage. Apply, wait 48 hours, backwash, then re-apply if necessary until level is <100 ppb. Reduce phosphate in stages so as not to increase filter pressure beyond acceptable level.
For Cartridge and DE filters only:
Limit applications to no more than 1 litre per one-time dosage. Apply, wait 48 hours, clean filter and re-apply if necessary until level is <100 ppb. Reduce phosphate in stages so as not to increase filter pressure beyond acceptable level
Important:
- Ensure the pump and filter are operating when product is being applied.
- Clean/backwash filter prior to application
- Shake well. Pour required amount slowly into a clean skimmer – don’t clean filter for min. 48 hrs to allow product to work.
- Water may cloud slightly. Filter continuously until clear. For best results, run pump and filter continuously while Phos Cleanse Plus is in the filter. After 48 hours, clean filter and reapply, if necessary.
