HydroQuip 5.5KW single element 3 inch x 15 inch heater that replaces the obsolete heater in Coast Spas that had the custom Gecko control system with the heater that had dual heating elements. Can replace the obsolete : C2550-3602ET-G and C2500-3600-G heaters*.
Heater Union Threads
Heater union has custom size threads that measure 3-5/8" across inside. 2 gaskets and 2 threaded buttresses are included with this heater.
Element Connections
The old heater had 2 elements with 4 connections. This heater has a single element with 2 connections.
Pressure Switch Tap
Pressure switch is not included with the heater but the tube has the threaded 1/8" hole for a pressure switch if needed. Ships with a removable threaded tap in the hole.
*IMPORTANT:
This heater is a retrofit and not a direct connect. A technician familiar with the obsolete Gecko dual element systems for Coast Spas will need to disconnect and remove the heater connections from the circuit board for the 1KW heater which are not used with this heater.
