Sani Marc Alka + is an alkalinity increaser for hot tubs and pools that helps prevent fluctuations in pH and helps keep spa water balanced to optimize the efficiency of sanitizer. Water alkalinity should be maintained between 80 to 120 parts per million(ppm) for chlorine sanitizers and 100 to 150 ppm for bromine sanitizers. This container is labelled for pool use but can be used to raise the alkalinity in pools or hot tubs.
Application method:
- Slowly sprinkle Alka plus onto the surface of hot tub water or the pool while walking all around it, or into the pool skimmer basket
Dosage:
- When alkalinity levels are low, add 168 grams of Alka plus per 10,000 litres of pool water to increase alkalinity by approximately 10 ppm.
