Rocky’s specially designed strapping and grommets ensure that your solar blanket is securely attached to your reel. These grommets are intended for single use and are designed to last as long as your solar blanket. If you need to replace your strapping or grommets, they can be purchased separately.
Even if you don’t have a Rocky’s brand Solar Reel System, our Universal Strap Kit is essential when changing covers. We are the only solar reel manufacturer that offers a vinyl-coated, waterproof strap. Other manufacturers use materials similar to seat belts, which can break down when exposed to water and pool chemicals, significantly reducing their lifespan and leading to issues with straps falling off.
Rocky’s grommets are designed to protect your cover from tearing and keep everything securely attached. Additionally, our grommets feature a tab that allows you to use rope instead of strapping, if you prefer. This rope tab also enables you to attach a rope pull to your cover, which aids in pulling the cover out onto the pool.
