Usage guidline:
Start off by cleaning the damaged surface and then cut a piece of vinyl that is close to double the size of the damaged area. Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the vinyl but don’t worry as it is designed to work while submerged. Secure to the damaged area by pressing tightly and allowing it to dry for 24 hours.
Good practice for this repair process includes rounding the vinyl patch to ensure that no corners exist that are easier to peel over time. Also, it’s definitely alright to add a very liberal amount of the adhesive to the patch ensuring as best of a seal as possible. As you are applying this patch underwater, make sure you pinch patch while going underwater and then opening above the damaged surface. Lastly, it is possible to use a larger patch over the initial repair for additional strengthening or fixing.
