This Waterway Viper hot tub pump is rated at 5.0HP which is the largest standard pump that Waterway offers for hot tubs and swim spas. It's not the HP that makes it the biggest, it's the wet end with it's 2-1/2" intake and discharge that make it bigger than the Water Executive 56 series and also the Gallons Per Minute flow rate. At high speed this pump is rated for over 400 Gallons a minute flow rate.

The Waterway Viper hot tub pump is only suitable to replace an existing Viper pump due to the high volume of water it pumps per minute GPM. The Viper model is also the only Waterway pump available with a 2-1/2" intake and discharge.
