Wear ring for the current generation Ultimax impellers. The Balboa Ultimax series pumps made before August 1, 2014 did not have the wear ring. If your pump does not have a wear ring on the impeller then it's not required.
The old generation of Ultimax pumps were made by Ultrajet up to about 2011. Balboa Water Group is now the manufacturer of these pumps and the replacement parts, most of these pump parts now made by Balboa are backwards compatible and should fit the older standard Ultrajet generation of the Ultimax series pumps
Manufacturer warrants product to be free of defects upon delivery.
