While the Hayward Super Pump and Super Pump II are both one speed and appear identical on the outside, they use model-specific internal parts. Although many of these parts are physically interchangeable, they directly determine the pump's performance. Specifically, the Super Pump II is classified as a "high-head" model, whereas the standard Super Pump is a "medium-head" model. This classification refers to their differing performance capabilities under pressure.
