4 HP Waterway Executive 56 Pump, 2” in/out 230V

The Waterway Executive 56 4HP hot tub pump with the 2” intake threads has two speeds and features a split capacitor for starting and running, which helps reduce energy consumption. It is thermally protected to enhance the motor's life expectancy. This model was originally labeled Waterway part number 3721621-1D, which has been updated to the new model number PF-35-2N22M and the new part number ME-40226-20. The pump runs on 220-240 volts and is rated for 12.0 amps on high speed and 3.5 to 4.4 amps on low speed. This Waterway executive 56 frame 4.0 HP pump has a side discharge with 2 inch threads and on the intake which measure about 3-1/16" across outside.

IMPORTANT

The PF- model number from your old pump should not be used as a reference for selecting a new replacement pump as Waterway has produced up to 4 known variations of pumps with the same model number which are different enough that they are not interchangeable. Always select a replacement pump with the same part number as the Waterway part number on the label on your old pump.

The last digit "C" or "M" in the model number only references the brand of electric motors Waterway uses on these pumps and does not need to be matched on the new replacement pumps. C references Century/A.O. Smith brand motor and M references U.S. Motors brand electric motor on the pump. The low speed amps can also vary depending on the motor brand from 3.5 to 4.4 which has no impact on performance.

Horsepower ratings

Choosing a pump based on Horsepower (HP) can be incorrect. The horsepower listed in your spa manual or on the old pump's label may be overinflated, inaccurate, or even left blank. Horsepower ratings on hot tub pumps are often listed as SPL-HP, BHP, MBHP, RHP or S-HP, which is not the same as continuous operating horsepower. Installing an oversized pump in your hot tub can cause significant damage.

To avoid choosing the incorrect pump, confirm if it’s a 48 frame or 56 frame, then use the high-speed Amperage rating listed on the old pump's label to find the correct replacement instead of the horsepower. The amperage rating is listed with both high/low speed for a 2-speed pump.

Determining hot tub pump thread size

Hot tub pump plumbing sizes are nominal and not the actual outside diameter (O.D.) of the threaded intake or discharge. To confirm your old pump thread sizes, use a tape measure and check the diameter of your old pump thread size.

Amperage ratings

New hot tub pump amperage ratings may vary slightly for pumps with the same performance rating. The RPMs remain the same 3450 for high-speed and single-speed pumps and 1725 for low-speed for two-speed pumps.

When and how will my order ship?

Orders placed before 10am EST Monday to Friday excluding holidays typically ship same day for items in stock at one of our shipping facilities. Most orders leave the warehouse within 48 hours during business days. If item(s) on your order are back ordered or sold out before your order can be filled, a follow up email will be sent to you. Any orders with Special Order items will ship when the Special Order items arrive at the shipping depot.

Once your order has shipped the tracking information will be included in your Shipping Confirmation email. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for the shipping company to update online tracking information. We ship using multiple delivery partners including Canada Post Expedited Parcel, UPS, and Purolator. Orders with a PO Box or Rural Route address ship via Canada Post only. Items may be shipped from multiple locations and arrive in separate packages and on different days.

Free Ground Shipping

Free shipping is available on orders of $69 before tax to most locations in Canada, excluding Nunavut, Yukon, Northwest Territories, remote/beyond zones. Pool & Hot Tub Depot will select the most cost-effective carrier for orders eligible for free shipping to your area, typically Canada Post Expedited ground shipping. Alternative shipping options are available at checkout for an additional fee.

$9.00 Flat Rate Standard Ground Shipping

$9.00 Flat rate standard ground shipping is available on orders under $69 before tax to most locations in Canada, excluding Nunavut, Yukon, Northwest Territories, remote/beyond zones. Pool & Hot Tub Depot will choose the most economical carrier for orders under $69 before tax that have paid the $9 flat-rate shipping fee, usually Canada Post Expedited Ground. Other shipping options can be selected at checkout for an extra cost.

UPS Standard Shipping

UPS Standard is a cost-effective, reliable ground shipping option, available for an additional fee at checkout to select areas in Canada that UPS serves. Please note that the transit time for the package is tracked by UPS starting from the day the order is picked up at the warehouse in London, Ontario, not from the day the order is placed online or by phone. UPS delivery business days are Monday to Friday 9am up to 8pm. All Canadian holidays are excluded and do not count as a business day.

UPS Express Shipping

UPS next business day* delivery is available for an additional fee at checkout to select areas in Canada that UPS serves. Please note that the transit time for the package is tracked by UPS starting from the day the order is picked up at the warehouse in London, Ontario, not from the day the order is placed online or by phone. *UPS delivery business days are Monday to Friday 9am up to 8pm. In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup is available at the London, Ontario location only. You will be notified via email when your order is available for pick-up. Please wait for the email as your order may not be available for pick up earlier. Orders that have not been picked up within 30 days of the order date may be cancelled and refunded to the original method of payment.

Remote and Airstage Locations

As determined by Canada Post and or UPS, areas considered remote, that receive infrequent mail service or where mail must be airlifted are ineligible for free shipping or $9.00 flat rate shipping. Remote areas are listed in Table 9 and the Air Stage Locations list is available here. Shipping costs to any of these areas is calculated by weight and size of the order, please add the desired items to the cart and enter your postal code in the shipping calculator of the shopping cart.

Shipping Outside Canada

Poolandhottubdepot.com only ships within Canada. Unfortunately we are not able to export our products to any other countries.

Cancellations

Should the need arise to cancel an order after it’s been placed, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please get in touch with our Customer Care team as soon as possible, ways to contact us can be found here. Once your order moves into the awaiting shipment stage in our warehouse, we may no longer be able to cancel it. Should this be the case, we can help facilitate a return upon delivery (excluding final sale items).
